据俄罗斯卫星通讯社sputniknews报道，美国总统特朗普宣布，可能禁止TikTok短视频软件。

TikTok属于北京字节跳动科技有限公司（ByteDance），总部设在北京。公司注册地是开曼群岛。ByteDance原则上有两款产品：抖音和TikTok。从实质看，它们同是短视频软件，只是在不同平台上运营。抖音在 ，针对国内市场，而TikTok主打国外市场。TikTok的负责人是华特迪士尼流媒体服务前任经理凯文·梅耶尔。梅耶尔同时还是ByteDance的主运营经理。
